When Sylvia and Jay hired me to photograph their wedding I was immediately excited because I could tell how important photography is to them. They truly understand how important it is not only to have images to hand down to future generations, but also how important it is to have those images printed! My favorite kind of couple! I can’t wait to design their wedding album and canvas!
Our first shoot was for their engagement session which we did at Stanley Park in Vancouver, B.C on a stunning sunny day. We followed it with a brief session at one of my favorite locations-Blackie Spit Park in White Rock, B.C! The images were beautiful and looked fantastic as compliments at their intimate wedding at Northview Golf Course in Surrey, B.C. Sylvia couldn’t have been more beautiful in her fitted lace dress and Jay looked like he jumped right out of a magazine in his suite that fit like a glove! Their love was definitely their main accesories though, anyone that meets them can tell there is so much love between these two!
They said their vows in front of some of their most cherished friends and family in the outdoor gardens at Northview Golf Course, followed by some of my favorite formal pictures under the trees that were shining in tones of yellow, orange and red. That is by far the reason I LOVE fall weddings! The colors add so much beauty to the images.
These are just a couple of the many, many shots we got of their spectacular day!
Congrats Jay and Sylvia, it was such a pleasure getting to work with you! I can’t wait till I get the call about a maternity session 😉
Look how well this bouquet suited this dress!!!
Is this not the coolest Chinese dress you have ever seen!? The back was AMAZING! So unique!
Dinner was followed by some loving and heartfelt speeches and some very excited ladies when the bouquet was ready for a toss!!
Look at them! Are they not some good looking siblings!!? And that bridal party! You couldn’t hire better looking people!!
It was all ended with one of the most romantic first dances ever. The intimate moment the shared was so touching to watch!
